Mad Egg

The goal of this project was to add new details to the industrial interiors that the brand is known for. We created a new design for the bar counter, with a bespoke mix of square white tiles and a hand-brushed zinc effect finish, accentuated by strip lighting, making it a focal point of the space. The walls are clad in a black sprayed corrugated steel, with an almost oil-like finish, to counterbalance our concrete effect brushed zinc upper wall zones. All the built-in seating was custom designed to the clients’ requirements, and finished in black leather. The challenge of the exterior area was the uneven floor slope, but we worked successfully with our contractors on a design solution to solve this problem. As a nod to the business, our team also designed custom crittall dividers with mesh glass detailing, referencing chicken wire in an innovative way.
